HDR...Maybe.
Went out for some night-time shooting in Montreal's Old Port. Problem: No tripod. Despite that, and perhaps especially considering that, I think these shots came out quite good for handheld stuff. I'm probably going to go back and do some serious tripod business.

I really like the photo with the chains at the forefront. The string and rope are a bit distracting but the composition and subject does 'it' for me. Why? I don't know.
Yep. Chains are my favorite too. It was kind of a pain without tripods, so I didn't bother taking that many shots. The only shot I actually really like are the chains. The rest is just fluff to fill up my post =P
I think the chains look good because of the shape they take.. gives an impression of heaviness / toughness. My fav too
