Grand ambitions
So....Longest MIA ever? Definitely.
BUT! School year has started again, which means more lovely productive procrastination. You know how it is.
On top of the regular (or irregular, if you look at it in terms of update frequency) material, I'm going to try to add near-daily posts about small things that have caught my attention and interest. I say near-daily, because let's face it: I can't do the daily thing. Let's hope this year's a more prolific one.

Late Night Rekindling - Oneshot... 5?
So in the same vein as trying to revive my blog, I've been rekindling with my piano. Poor, poor neglected piano.
Here's an inspiration-less improv. I need to brush up on chord progressions.

New (Temporary) Camera
Aww, yeah. Look at those curves. Oh, what's that? There are no curves? That's right. That's how I like them.
This will be my new little baby until I get my F2A. USPS is taking their sweet time. This one's a Nikkormat FT, if you're curious. Bought the kit mostly for the lenses included.

HDR...Maybe.
Went out for some night-time shooting in Montreal's Old Port. Problem: No tripod. Despite that, and perhaps especially considering that, I think these shots came out quite good for handheld stuff. I'm probably going to go back and do some serious tripod business.
Tried to play around with HDR a bit. Can you guess which ones have been processed?

On the way.
Held at arms' length at 1/15th of a second!
